General Description

XXT Mono shock absorber – the direct evolution from racing. Thanks to its versatile adjustment options, the Bitubo XXT shock absorber is easy to adjust even when installed.

The development of this shock culminates in a general weight reduction through the use of an aluminium body – an important point to fine-tune the handling to the rider's requirements. Furthermore, a new set-up has been developed to further orient the XXT towards racing performance. An upgrade for optimised performance and simplification of length and hydraulicer spring preload adjustment has also been installed.

The goal is to offer the rider precise control and maximum grip, even in extreme lean angles or during rapid changes of direction, as well as even tire wear. It offers maximum confidence when accelerating on all street surfaces and perfect stability of the rear wheel, even under the hardest braking.

Innovation also reigns inside the shock. With technically new solutions, the damping coefficient and stability at high temperature are improved.
By using a piston rod with a 14 mm diameter, the sliding behaviour is improved, while the Ø30mm separator piston reduces uncontrolled movements of the hydraulic oil. These improvements lead to a reduction in inertial forces and thus enable immediate control of oscillating spring movements.
