General description

XXT mono shock absorbers – the direct evolution from racing. Thanks to its versatile adjustment options, the Bitubo XXT shock absorber can be easily adapted even when installed.

The development of this shock absorber culminates in an overall weight reduction through the use of an aluminium housing – an important point for tuning the handling to the rider's requirements. Furthermore, a new set-up has been developed to focus the XXT even more on racing performance. An upgrade for optimised performance and simplification of length and hydraulicer spring preload adjustment has also been installed.

The goal is to offer the rider precise control and maximum grip, even at extreme lean angles or during rapid changes of direction, as well as even tire wear. It offers the greatest confidence when accelerating on all street surfaces and perfect stability of the rear wheel, even under the hardest braking.

Innovation also prevails inside the shock absorber. With technically new solutions, the damping coefficient and stability at high temperatures are improved.
By using a piston rod with a 14 mm diameter, sliding behaviour is improved, while the Ø30mm separating piston reduces uncontrolled movements of the hydraulic oil. These improvements lead to a reduction in inertial forces and thus enable immediate control of oscillating spring movements.
