General Description

XXT Mono shock absorber – the direct evolution from racing. Thanks to its versatile adjustment options, the Bitubo XXT shock absorber is easy to adjust even when installed.

The development of this shock absorber culminates in a general weight reduction through the use of an aluminium body – an important point for tailoring the handling to the rider's requirements. Furthermore, a new setup was developed to focus the XXT even more on racing performance. An upgrade for optimised performance and simplification of length and hydraulicer spring preload adjustment has also been installed.

The aim is to offer the rider precise control and maximum grip, even at extreme lean angles or during rapid changes of direction, as well as even tire wear. It offers utmost confidence during acceleration on all street surfaces and perfect rear wheel stability, even during the hardest braking.

Innovation also prevails inside the damper. With technically new solutions, the damping coefficient and stability at high temperatures are improved.
By using a 14mm diameter piston rod, the sliding behaviour is improved, while the Ø30mm separating piston reduces uncontrolled movements of the hydraulic oil. These improvements lead to a reduction of inertial forces, thus enabling immediate control of oscillating spring movements.
