General description

XXT Mono shock absorbers – direct evolution from racing. Thanks to the versatile adjustment options, the Bitubo XXT shock absorber can be easily adapted even when installed.

The development of this damper culminates in a general weight reduction through the use of an aluminium housing – a key point for tuning the handling to the rider's requirements. Furthermore, a new set-up has been developed to further align the XXT with racing performance. An upgrade for optimised performance and simplified adjustment of length and hydraulic spring preload has also been installed.

The aim is to offer the rider precise control and maximum grip, even at extreme lean angles or during rapid changes of direction, as well as even tire wear. It offers utmost confidence when accelerating on all street surfaces and perfect stability of the rear wheel, even under the hardest braking.

Innovation also extends to the interior of the damper. With technically new solutions, the damping coefficient and stability at high temperature are improved.
By using a piston rod with a 14 mm diameter, the sliding behaviour is improved, while the Ø30mm separating piston reduces uncontrolled movements of the hydraulic oil. These improvements lead to a reduction in inertia forces and thus enable immediate control of oscillating spring movements.
