General Description

CLU - the link between street and racing. This high-performance shock absorber is dedicated to street and sport motorcycles. It is a gas-pressurised shock absorber with a dividing piston for oil / nitrogen in the balance tank, a Ø16mm piston rod with an anti-friction coating, and friction-minimised bushing. The lower and upper mountings are made from an aluminium alloy, as used in aerospace - precision CNC milled. The setting of the spring preload is hydraulic and can be adjusted both manually and by a 14 mm HH screw.

The balance tank is separated from the housing to allow for better positioning on the vehicle and to optimise the cooling of the hydraulic oil. They are connected by a flexible, steel-braided hose. The shock absorber improves feedback from the bike and increases both grip and comfort.

The last digit in the shock absorber's designation indicates the colour of the spring: '1' stands for a red spring, while shock absorbers ending in '2' have a black spring. For example, the shock absorber 'CLU11' has a red spring, 'CLU12' consequently a black one.
