With WME22V2, Bitubo introduces a compact hydraulic preload for all WME series damper pairs. With this new device, it is possible to adjust the preload of the spring without intervention on the corresponding adjusting nuts, but with a common Allen key.The WME22V2 dampers are single-chamber dampers with nitrogen filling, equipped with a floating oil/gas separator piston. The bodies of all WME22V2 are made from a special high-resistance steel alloy, equipped with aluminium heads machined from solid material. As usual, the design of the WME22V2 is kept completely black in all components, with the exception of the shaft. The springs are made of a Cr-Si steel alloy.
Additionally, chromed caps can be purchased in the following variants:
