General Description

XXT Mono shock absorbere – the direct evolution from racing. Thanks to the versatile adjustment options, the Bitubo XXT shock absorber can be easily adapted even when installed.

The development of this damper culminates in a general weight reduction through the use of an aluminium housing – an important point to fine-tune handling to the rider's requirements. Furthermore, a new set-up has been developed to further align the XXT with racing performance. An upgrade for optimised performance and simplification of length adjustment and hydraulicer spring preload has also been installed.

The goal is to offer the rider precise control and maximum grip, even at extreme lean angles or during rapid changes of direction, as well as even tireabnutzung. It offers greatest confidence when accelerating on all streetnbelägen and perfect stability of the rear wheeles, even under the hardest braking.

Innovation also prevails inside the damper. With technically new solutions, the damping coefficient and stability at high temperatureen are improved.
By using a pistonstange with a 14 mm diameter, the sliding behaviour is improved, while the Ø30mm separating piston reduces uncontrolled movements of the hydraulic oil. These improvements lead to a reduction in inertia forces and thus enable immediate control of the oscillating springbewegungen.
