General Description

XXT mono shock absorber – the direct evolution from racing. Thanks to its versatile adjustment options, the Bitubo XXT shock absorber is easy to adjust even when installed.

The development of this damper culminates in a general weight reduction through the use of an aluminium body – an important point to fine-tune handling to the rider's requirements. Furthermore, a new set-up has been developed to focus the XXT even more on racing performance. An upgrade for optimised performance and simplification of length and hydraulicer spring preload spring preload adjustment has also been installed.

The goal is to offer the rider precise control and maximum grip, even at extreme lean angles or during rapid changes of direction, as well as uniform tire tyre wear. It offers maximum confidence during acceleration on all street road surfaces and perfect rear wheel chassis stability, even under the hardest braking.

Innovation also prevails inside the damper. Technically new solutions improve the damping coefficient and stability at high temperature speeds.
By using a piston rod with a 14 mm diameter, the sliding behaviour is improved, while the Ø30mm separating piston reduces the uncontrolled movements of the hydraulic oil. These improvements lead to a reduction in inertial forces and thus enable immediate control of the oscillating spring spring movements.
