BITUBO stereo shock absorbers rear, spring preload and rebound damping adjustable, colour: chrome, with ABE; for BMW R45 / R65 / R65LS Type: BMW248 (model year 1979-1985)

General description

Nitrogen-filled single-tube gas pressure shock absorbers with floating pistons for improved riding comfort and vehicle control. The rebound damping adjustment range achieves excellent performance in all riding situations, both solo and fully loaded. The damper body is made of high-strength steel, and the head sections are CNC-machined from billet aluminium.

Adjustment options:
- spring preload - stepless, via adjusting ring
- Rebound - stepless, via adjusting lever

Each pair of shock absorbers comes with an Basic setting tailored to the respective model.
Available with chrome-plated head and foot with chrome-plated spring or with black head and foot with black spring. Also available with chrome-plated head and foot and black spring (discontinued models).

Additionally, chrome-plated caps can be purchased in the following variants:
- Chrome cap set (2 pairs = 2 uppers and 2 lower chrome caps): Item no. BI-GR9601

- Upper black chrome caps (2 pieces, black chrome-plated): Item no. BI-GR9604
