General Description

XXT mono shock absorber – the direct evolution from racing. Thanks to its versatile adjustment options, the Bitubo XXT shock absorber can be easily adapted even when installed.

The development of this shock absorber culminates in a general weight reduction through the use of an aluminium casing – an important point for tuning the handling to the rider's requirements. Furthermore, a new set-up has been developed to focus the XXT even more on racing performance. An upgrade for optimised performance and simplified adjustment of length and hydraulicer spring preload has also been installed.

The goal is to offer the rider precise control and maximum grip, even at extreme lean angles or during rapid changes of direction, as well as uniform tire wear. It provides great confidence when accelerating on all street surfaces and perfect stability of the rear wheel, even under the hardest braking.

Innovation also reigns inside the shock absorber. Technically new solutions improve the damping coefficient and stability at high temperature.
By using a piston rod with a 14 mm diameter, the sliding behaviour is improved, while the Ø30mm separating piston reduces uncontrolled movements of the hydraulic oil. These improvements lead to a reduction in inertial forces, thus enabling immediate control of oscillating spring movements.
