General description

XXT Mono mono-shock absorbers – the direct evolution from racing. Thanks to the versatile adjustment options, the Bitubo XXT mono-shock absorber can be easily adapted even when installed.

The development of this damper culminates in a general weight reduction through the use of an aluminium housing – an important point to tailor the handling to the rider's requirements. Furthermore, a new set-up has been developed to further align the XXT with racing performance. An upgrade for optimised performance and simplification of length and hydraulic spring preload adjustment has also been installed.

The goal is to offer the rider precise control and maximum grip, even in extreme lean angles or during rapid changes of direction, as well as even tyre wear. It offers utmost confidence when accelerating on all road surfaces and perfect chassis stability, even under the hardest braking.

Innovation also prevails inside the damper. With technically new solutions, the damping coefficient and stability at high frequencies are improved.
By using a piston rod with a 14 mm diameter, the sliding behaviour is improved, while the Ø30mm separating piston reduces the uncontrolled movements of the hydraulic oil. These improvements lead to a reduction of inertial forces and thus enable immediate control of oscillating spring movements.
