The Kit S was developed to reduce fork friction. The smooth sliding of the fork is absolutely essential during braken, as the forces involved can twist the fork tubee due to exponentially increasing friction. An original fork equipped with Kit S is consistently smoother and provides the rider with improved feedback on the front wheel during hard braken and corner entry.Sliding vs. Stiction:
The KIT S significantly reduces the "sticking" of surfaces at high breakaway moments and at the moment of first force application, allowing the fork to react faster and more precisely.
Kit S contains
A pair of slider bushes for the outer tube of the fork with a special anti-friction coating. These bushingn are each embedded in a ring made of Aluminium 7075, calibrated dimensionally to ensure perfect interaction between the piston and the lower fork tube.
A pair of sealen between the piston rod and the end cap, with innovative sealing edges and an inventive self-lubricating treatment, which greatly reduces friction.
