General Description
The Kit S was developed to reduce fork friction. The easy sliding of the fork is absolutely necessary during brakeing, as the forces involved, due to exponentially increasing friction, can cause the fork tubee to twist.An original fork equipped with Kit S is consistently smoother and provides the rider with improved feedback on the front wheel during hard brakeing and corner entry.Sliding vs. Stiction:
The KIT S significantly reduces "sticking" of surfaces during high breakaway moments and at the time of initial force application, allowing the fork to react faster and more precisely.
Kit S contains
A pair of slide bushes for the outer tube of the fork with a special anti-friction coating. These bushingn are each embedded in a ring made of Aluminium 7075, calibrated dimensionally to ensure perfect interaction between the piston and fork leg.
A pair of sealen between the piston rod and sealing plug, with novel sealing edges and innovative self-lubricating processing, which significantly reduces friction.
