The Kit S was developed to reduce fork friction. The smooth sliding of the fork is absolutely necessary during brake, as the forces involved can cause the fork tubes to twist due to exponentially increasing friction. An original fork equipped with Kit S is consistently smoother and provides the rider with improved feedback on the front wheel during hard brake and corner entry.Sliding vs. Sticking Force:
The Kit S enormously reduces the "sticking" of surfaces during high breakaway moments and at the point of initial force application, allowing the fork to react faster and more precisely.
Kit S contains:
A pair of slide bushings for the outer tube of the fork with a special anti-friction coating. These bushings are each embedded in a ring made of 7075 aluminium, calibrated in dimension to ensure perfect interaction between the piston and fork tube.
A pair of seals between the piston rod and sealing cap, with novel sealing edges and innovative self-lubricating processing, which significantly reduces friction.
