The Kit S was developed to reduce fork friction. The smooth sliding of the fork is absolutely necessary during brakeing, as the forces involved, due to exponentially increasing friction, can cause the fork tube to twist. An original fork equipped with Kit S is consistently smoother and provides the rider with improved feedback on the front wheel during hard brakeing and corner entry.Sliding vs. Stiction:

A pair of sliding bushes for the outer tube of the fork with a special anti-friction coating. These bushings are each embedded in a ring made of 7075 aluminium, which is dimensionally calibrated to create a perfect interplay between the piston and the fork lower tube.
