General description
The Kit S was developed to reduce fork friction. Smooth fork sliding is absolutely essential during braken, as the forces involved can cause the fork tubee to twist internally due to exponentially increasing friction.An original fork equipped with Kit S is consistently smoother and provides the rider with improved feedback on the front wheel during hard braken and corner entry.Sliding vs. Stiction:
The KIT S significantly reduces the 'stiction' of surfaces during high breakaway moments and at the point of initial force application, allowing the fork to react faster and more subtly.
Kit S includes
A pair of slide bushes for the outer tube of the fork with a special anti-friction coating. These bushingn are each embedded in a 7075 aluminium ring, precisely calibrated to ensure perfect interaction between the piston and the fork slider.
A pair of sealen between the piston rod and the sealing cap, featuring new sealing lips and innovative self-lubricating machining, which significantly reduces friction.
