The front upper mudguard right-hand section for the BMW R 1250 GS Adventure from 2019 onwards replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, in the next step, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic finish significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. However, the coating not only excels technically, but it also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.The weight of our upper mudguard in carbon for the BMW R 1250 GS from model year 2019 is only approximately 320 grams!
