Collectors and tube are key to optimal exhaust gas flow and the intended power, performance. CNC-machined components and welds that do not reduce the inner diameter contribute significantly to this. Thus, the diameter of the tube, bend radii, welds and their exact placement and execution, as well as the guide of the header pipes, are optimally adapted to each bike. Depending on the engine and ignition sequence, the optimal layout of the header, connection pieces, and intermediate pipes right up to the silencers is developed through countless dynamometer runs.

Arrow headers are made from a special steel alloy (racing variants also from high-quality, lightweight titanium). The steel is highly temperature-resistant and very mechanically deformable. It possesses high resistance to humidity, water, and weak alkalis, such as those used in motorcycle cleaning products. Due to its lower weight, the titanium header variant is used in racing.
