CNC-machined components and welds that do not reduce the inner diameter contribute significantly to this. Thus, the diameter of the tube, bend radii, welds and their exact placement and execution, as well as the guide of the header pipes, are optimally adapted to each bike. Depending on the engine and ignition sequence, the optimal layout of the header, connecting pipes and mid-pipes right through to the rear silencers is developed in countless dyno runs.
Arrow headers are manufactured from a special steel alloy. The V2A stainless steel is highly temperature-resistant and very easy to mechanically form. It has high resistance to humidity, water, and weak alkalis, such as those used in motorcycle care products.
