Collectors and tubes are key to optimal exhaust gas routing and the planned power, performance delivery. CNC-milled components and weld seams that do not reduce the internal diameter play a significant role. Thus, the diameter of the tubes, bend radii, weld seams and their exact placement and execution, as well as the guide of the manifold pipes, are optimally adapted to each bike. Depending on the engine and ignition sequence, the optimal layout of the manifold, connecting pieces and link pipes up to the silencers is developed through countless dyno runs.
Arrow manifolds are made from a special steel alloy (racing versions also from high-quality, lightweight titanium). The V2A stainless steel is highly temperature-resistant and can be mechanically formed very well. It has high resistance to humidity, water, and weak alkalis, such as those used in motorcycle care products. Due to its lower weight, the titanium manifold variant is used in racing.
