Collectors and tube are the key to optimal exhaust gas flow and the intended power, performance. CNC-machined components and welds that do not reduce the internal diameter contribute significantly to this. Thus, the diameter of the tube, bend radii, welds and their precise placement and execution, as well as the guide of the header pipes, are optimally adapted to each bike. Depending on the engine and ignition sequence, the optimal layout of the headers, connecting pieces, and mid-pipes right through to the silencers is developed through countless dyno runs. Arrow headers are manufactured from a special steel alloy (racing versions also from high-quality, lightweight titanium). The steel is highly temperature-resistant and can be easily mechanically formed. It has high resistance to humidity, water, and weak alkalis, such as those used in motorcycle care products.
