General description

Collectors and tube are key to optimal exhaust gas routing and the intended power, performance delivery. CNC-machined components and welds that do not reduce the inner diameter contribute significantly to this. Thus, the diameter of the tube, bending radii, welds and their exact placement and execution, as well as the guide of the header pipes, are optimally adapted to each bike. Depending on the engine and firing order, the optimal layout of the header, connecting pieces, and mid-pipes leading to the silencers is developed through countless dynamometer runs.

Arrow headers are manufactured from a special steel alloy (racing variants also from high-quality, lightweight titanium). V2A stainless steel is highly temperature resistant and can be easily mechanically formed. It has high resistance to humidity, water, and weak alkalis, as used in motorcycle care products. Due to its lower weight, the titanium header variant is used in racing.

For legal operation, a version with an integrated catalyst is also available for many motorcycles. Aftermarket catalytic converters are also available for exhaust gas purification.
