Collectors and tube are key to optimal exhaust gas routing and the intended power, performance development. CNC-machined components and welds that do not reduce the internal diameter contribute significantly to this. Thus, the diameter of the tube, bend radii, welds and their exact placement and execution, as well as the guide of the header pipes, are optimally adapted to each bike. Depending on the engine and firing order, the optimal layout of the header, connecting pieces, and mid-pipes, right through to the silencers, is developed through countless dyno runs.

Arrow header pipes are made from a special steel alloy (racing versions also from high-quality, lightweight titanium). The 304-grade stainless steel is highly temperature-resistant and can be mechanically formed very well. It has high resistance to humidity, water, and weak alkalis, such as those used in motorcycle care products. Due to its lower weight, the titanium header pipe variant is used in racing.

For legal operation, a version with an integrated catalyst is also available for many motorcycles. Aftermarket catalytic converters are also available for exhaust gas purification.
