Collectors and tubes are key to optimal exhaust gas routing and the intended power, performance delivery. CNC machined components and welds that do not reduce the internal diameter play a significant part in this. Thus, the diameter of the tubes, bend radii, welds and their exact placement and execution, as well as the guide of the header pipes, are optimally adapted to each bike. Depending on the engine and ignition sequence, the optimal layout of the header pipe, connecting pieces, and mid-pipes up to the silencers is developed through countless dynamometer runs.

Arrow header pipes are manufactured from a special steel alloy (racing variants also from high-quality, lightweight titanium). The 304 stainless steel is highly temperature-resistant and can be mechanically formed very well. It has high resistance to humidity, water, and weak alkalis, such as those used in motorcycle care products. Due to its lower weight, the titanium header pipe variant is used in racing.

For legal operation, a version with an integrated catalyst is also available for many motorcycles. Aftermarket catalytic converters for exhaust gas purification are also available.
