Collectors and tube are key to optimal exhaust gas flow and the intended power, performance development. CNC-milled components and welds that do not reduce the internal diameter contribute significantly to this. Thus, the diameter of the tube, bending radii, welds and their exact placement and execution, as well as the guide of the header pipes, are optimally adapted to each bike. Depending on the engine and ignition sequence, the optimal layout of the header, connectors, and intermediate pipes, right through to the silencers, is developed through countless dyno runs.

Arrow headers are manufactured from a special steel alloy (racing variants also from high-quality, lightweight titanium). V2A stainless steel is highly temperature-resistant and can be mechanically deformed very well. It has high resistance to humidity, water, and weak lyes, as used in motorcycle care products. Due to its lower weight, the titanium header variant is used in racing.

For legal operation, a version with an integrated catalyst is also available for many motorcycles. Aftermarket catalysts for exhaust gas purification are also available.
