Proudly holding the A2 motorcycledriving licence, having seen the dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor – this machine HAS to be it! Small catch: the standard power is too high for the stepped licence. Dream over? On the contrary, because with alpha Technik power, performances reductions, the motorcycledream immediately becomes reality!

With alpha Technik throttle restrictor kits, motorcycles of all power, performances classes become more interesting for the motorcyclerider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performances weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.

A lot of know-how goes into the development of power, performances reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account: on the one hand, statutory regulations such as exhaust gas, noise, and power, performances measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the greatest possible preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performances development. Once all requirements are met, a part certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it is a high development and measurement effort, which is not immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous throttle restrictor plates and throttle stops.

Before the new driving licence regulation came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to make do with 25 kW for 2 years.
