Mechanical 35 kW throttle restrictions for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, holders of driving licence category A2 are now entitled to a maximum of 35 kW, which they will want to unleash. With alpha Technik throttle kits, motorcycles of all power, performances classes become more interesting for the motorcyclerider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 35kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current driving licence category A2. The power, performances weight of 0.2kW/kg and double the original output of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.
A lot of know-how goes into the development of power, performances reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account: on the one hand, statutory regulations such as exhaust, noise and power, performances measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performances delivery as unchanged as possible.
