Proudly holding your motorcycle A2 licence, you've seen your dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor – this machine HAS to be yours! Small catch: the standard power, performance for the stepped licence is too high. Is the dream over? On the contrary, with alpha Technik power, performance reductions, your motorcycle dream immediately becomes a reality!

With throttle kits from alpha Technik, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more appealing to motorcycle riders, as almost any desired model can be adjusted to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 licence class. The power, performance-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output of the standard vehicle must not be exceeded.

Extensive expertise goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be considered: on one hand, statutory regulations such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the goal is to maintain optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery as unchanged as possible.
Once all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it involves considerable development and measurement effort, which is not immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous throttle plates and throttle stops.

25 kW throttle restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to make do with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its extensive product range, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW throttle kits today, which can consequently be used by A2 licence holders. All 25 kW throttles function mechanically; no intervention in the electronics is necessary. The power, performance reduction is achieved by installing specially designed throttle plates in the intake tract or with throttle stops.
