Proudly holding your motorcycle A2 driving licence, you've seen your dream motorbike at dealer, distributor - this machine HAS to be yours! A small catch: the standard power for the tiered licence is too high. Is the dream over? On the contrary, because with alpha Technik power, performance reductions, your motorcycle dream immediately becomes a reality!

With alpha Technik throttle kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performance weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the output power of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.

A lot of expertise goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Key factors must be taken into account: on one side are legal regulations, such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other side, the largely unaltered preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery. If all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it's a significant development and measurement effort, which is not immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous throttle plates and throttle limiters.

25 kW Throttle Kits:
Before the new driving licence regulation, which came into force in spring 2013, new drivers had to manage with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its extensive range, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW throttle kits today, which can therefore be used by holders of the A2 driving licence. All 25 kW throttles operate mechanically; no intervention in the electronics is necessary. The power, performance reduction occurs through the installation of specially developed throttle plates in the intake tract or with throttle limiters.
