With alpha Technik throttle kits, motorcycles of all power, performance power classes become more appealing to the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought down to the required power, performance power of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, specific conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence. The power, performance power-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original power output of the standard vehicle must not be exceeded.

Extensive expertise goes into the development of power, performance power reduction kits. Essential factors must be considered: on one hand, legal regulations such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance power measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, maintaining optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance power delivery as unchanged as possible. Once all requirements are met, a component report is issued by the technical service. Until then, significant development and measurement effort is required, which is not immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous throttle plates and throttle stops.
