The supersport brake pad (brake pad) for road use (street) and track training.Very good braking capacity under heavy load, excellent durability (service life), no fading even with heavy and powerful motorcycles - excellent grip and low wear (wear).
Sintered metal materials give this brake pad (brake pad) its unique properties.
The advantage lies in the composition of the material; the components can be more finely metered and then mixed to achieve desired properties such as wet braking behaviour, high initial braking performance, fading prevention, wear resistance (wearfestigkeit) and more. In the manufacturing process, the powdered mixture is pressed into a compact brake pad (brake pad) under high pressure.
Sintered metal brake pads do not require the run-in period known from organic pads. Nevertheless, initial braking attempts should only be carried out up to approximately 50% of the possible braking performance (brake power) to allow the new alpha Technik brake pads to optimally adapt to the surface of the brake disc (brake disc) and to form an even deposit (corresponding), i.e. a "deposit" of pad (lining) abrasion, on the brake disc (brake disc).
This promotes braking performance (brake power) and helps to reduce wear (wear) on the brake disc (brake disc).
