Mechanical 35 kW restrictor kits for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, A2 driving licence holders can now look forward to a maximum of 35 kW, waiting to be unleashed. With restrictor kits from alpha Technik, motorcycles of all power, performances classes become more appealing for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be restricted to the required power, performance of 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence category. The power, performances-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original power output of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.
A great deal of know-how goes into the development of power, performances reduction. Essential factors must be considered here: on one side are the legal regulations, such as exhaust, noise, and power, performances measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other side, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performances delivery as unchanged as possible.
