Mechanical 35 kW restrictions for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, holders of the A2 licence class can now access a maximum of 35 kW, which are waiting to be unleashed. With alpha Technik restrictor kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more appealing for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be adjusted to the required power, performance of 35kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 licence class. The power, performance-to-weight ratio of 0.2kW/kg and double the original output of the production vehicle must not be exceeded.
Extensive know-how is invested in the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account: on the one hand, legal regulations such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, maintaining optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance development as unchanged as possible.
