Mechanical 35 kW restrictions for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, holders of the Category A2 driving licence can now access a maximum of 35 kW that are eager to be unleashed. With restrictor kits from alpha Technik, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more appealing to the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be restricted to the required power, performance of 35kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current Category A2 driving licence. The power, performance weight of 0.2kW/kg and double the output power of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.
A great deal of expertise goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account: on the one hand, statutory regulations such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the aim is to maintain optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery as unchanged as possible.
