Mechanical 35 kW restrictors for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, holders of driving licence class A2 can now unleash a maximum of 35 kW. With alpha Technik restrictor kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more appealing for motorcycle riders, as almost any desired model can be restricted to the required power, performance of 35kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current driving licence class A2. The power, performance-to-weight ratio of 0.2kW/kg and double the original output of the production vehicle must not be exceeded.
Extensive expertise goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Key factors must be taken into account here: on one hand, there are legal requirements such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, maintaining optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery as unchanged as possible.
