Mechanical 35 kW restriction for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, holders of the A2 driving licence class can now access a maximum of 35 kW, which want to be brought to life. With alpha Technik restrictor kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more appealing for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be restricted to the required power, performance of 35 kW. However, specific conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performance-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original power output of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.
A lot of expertise goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be considered here: on one side are the legal regulations, such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other side is the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery, as unchanged as possible.
