Mechanical 35 kW restriction kits for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, holders of category A2 driving licences can now access a maximum of 35 kW, waiting to be unleashed. With alpha Technik restrictor kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current category A2 driving licence. The power, performance-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output power of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.
A lot of know-how goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be considered here: on the one hand, there are legal requirements, such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery, as unchanged as possible.
