Mechanical 35 kW restrictors for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, holders of the A2 driving licence category can now unleash a maximum of 35 kW.
With alpha Technik restrictor kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more appealing to the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be restricted to the required power, performance of 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence category. The power, performance-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output power of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.
A great deal of expertise goes into developing power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be considered here: on the one hand, legal requirements such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery as unchanged as possible.
