Mechanical 35 kW restrictors for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, holders of the A2 driving licence class can now look forward to a maximum of 35 kW, which are ready to be brought to life. With alpha Technik restrictor kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for motorcycle riders, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 35kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performance-to-weight ratio of 0.2kW/kg and double the original power output of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.
A lot of know-how goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account: on the one hand, statutory regulations such as exhaust, noise and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery as unchanged as possible.
