General description
Mechanical 35 kW restrictions for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, holders of driving licence class A2 can now look forward to a maximum of 35 kW that want to be brought to life. With the restrictor kits from alpha Technik, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 35kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current driving licence class A2. The power, performance weight of 0.2kW/kg and double the original output of the production vehicle must not be exceeded.
Much know-how goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account here: on the one hand, there are legal regulations such as exhaust, noise and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the aim is to maintain optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery as unchanged as possible.
