Mechanical 35 kW restrictors for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, holders of driving licence class A2 are now restricted to a maximum of 35 kW. With alpha Technik restrictor kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 35kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current driving licence class A2. The power, performance weight of 0.2kW/kg and twice the original output of the production vehicle must not be exceeded.
A lot of know-how goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account: on one hand, legal regulations such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, maintaining optimal drivability and homogeneous power, performance development as unchanged as possible.
