Mechanical 35 kW restrictors for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, holders of driving licence class A2 are now allowed a maximum of 35 kW, which they want to unleash. With alpha Technik restrictor kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more appealing for motorcycle riders, as almost any desired model can be restricted to the required power, performance of 35kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current driving licence class A2. The power, performance-to-weight ratio of 0.2kW/kg and twice the original power output of the production vehicle must not be exceeded.
Much expertise goes into the development of power reduction. Key factors must be considered here: on the one hand, statutory regulations such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery as much as possible.
