Mechanical 35 kW restrictions for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, holders of the A2 driving licence category can now look forward to a maximum of 35 kW, which want to be brought to life. With restrictor kits from alpha Technik, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence category. The power, performance weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the output power of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.
A lot of know-how goes into the development of the power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account here: on the one hand, there are legal regulations, such as exhaust, noise and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the aim is to maintain optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance development as unchanged as possible.
