Proudly holding the motorcycle A2 licence, the dream motorcycle spotted at the dealer, distributor – this machine HAS to be it! Small catch: the standard power for the stepped licence is too high. Is the dream over? On the contrary, because with alpha Technik power, performances reductions, the motorcycle dream immediately becomes reality!

With restrictor kits from alpha Technik, motorcycles of all power, performances classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performances weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the output power of the standard vehicle must not be exceeded.

Much know-how goes into the development of power, performances reduction. Essential factors must be considered here: on one side are the legal regulations, such as exhaust emission, noise, and power, performances measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other side, the greatest possible unchanged preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performances development.
If all requirements are met, a component certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it is a significant development and measurement effort that is not immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous restrictor plates and throttle stops.
