Proudly holding the motorcycle A2 licence, your dream motorcycle seen at the dealer, distributor – this machine MUST be yours! Small catch: the standard power output for the stepped licence is too high. Dream over? On the contrary, because with alpha Technik power, performances reductions, the motorcycle dream instantly becomes reality!

With alpha Technik restrictor kits, motorcycles of all power, performances classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 licence class. The power, performances weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original power output of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.

A lot of know-how goes into the development of power, performances reduction. Essential factors must be considered here: on one side are the legal regulations, such as exhaust, noise, and power, performances measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other side, the greatest possible unaltered preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performances delivery.
When all requirements are met, a parts certificate is created by the technical service. Until then, there is a high development and measurement effort that is not immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous restrictor plates and throttle stops.

25 kW Restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation, which came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to make do with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its large product range, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restrictor kits today, which can therefore be used by holders of the A2 licence. All 25 kW restrictors work mechanically; no intervention in the electronics is necessary. The power, performances reduction occurs through the installation of specially designed restrictor plates in the intake tract, or with throttle stops.
