Small hitch: the standard power, performance for the graduated licence is too high. Is the dream over? On the contrary, with alpha Technik power, performance reductions, your motorcycle dream immediately becomes a reality!

With restrictor kits from alpha Technik, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be adjusted to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 licence class. The power, performance weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output of the standard vehicle must not be exceeded.

A great deal of expertise goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account: on one side are the legal regulations, such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other side, the largely unchanged preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery.
Once all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, the development and measurement effort is considerable, which is not immediately apparent from the sometimes inconspicuous restrictor plates and throttle stops.

25 kW Restrictors:
Before the new driving licence regulation, which came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to make do with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its extensive product range, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restrictor kits today, which can consequently be used by A2 licence holders. All 25 kW restrictors work mechanically; no electronic intervention is necessary. The power, performance reduction is achieved by installing specially designed restrictor plates in the intake tract, or with throttle stops.
