Proudly holding the motorcycle A2 driving licence, seen your dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor - this machine HAS to be yours! Small catch: the standard power for the graduated driving licence is too high. Dream over? On the contrary, because with alpha Technik power, performances reductions, the motorcycle dream immediately becomes a reality!

With alpha Technik restrictor kits, motorcycles of all power, performances classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performances weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output of the production vehicle must not be exceeded.

Much expertise goes into the development of power, performances reduction. Here, essential factors must be considered: on the one hand, legal requirements such as exhaust, noise, and power, performances measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, maintaining optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performances development as unchanged as possible.
Once all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it is a significant development and measurement effort, which is not immediately apparent from the sometimes inconspicuous restrictor plates and throttle stops.

25 kW Restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation came into force in spring 2013, new driving licence holders had to make do with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its extensive range, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restrictor kits today, which can consequently be used by A2 driving licence holders. All 25 kW restrictions operate mechanically; no intervention in the electronics is necessary. The power, performances reduction is achieved by installing specially designed restrictor plates in the intake tract or with throttle stops.
