Proudly holding your motorcycle A2 driving licence, having seen your dream motorcycle at dealer, distributor - this machine HAS to be yours! Small catch: the standard output for the graduated licence is too high. Is the dream over? On the contrary, with alpha Technik power, performance reductions, the motorcycle dream immediately becomes a reality!

With restrictor kits from alpha Technik, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performance weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output of the standard vehicle must not be exceeded.

A lot of know-how goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account here: on one side are the legal regulations, such as exhaust, noise and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other side, the largely unchanged preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery.
When all requirements are met, a part certificate is issued by the technical service. Up to that point, a high level of development and measurement effort is required, which is not immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous restrictor plates and throttle stops.

25 kW restrictions:
Before the new driving licence ordinance came into force in spring 2013, new driving licence holders had to manage with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its extensive product range, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restrictor kits today, which can therefore be used by holders of the A2 driving licence. All 25 kW restrictions work mechanically; no intervention in the electronics is necessary. The power, performance reduction is achieved by installing specially designed restrictor plates in the intake tract, or with throttle stops.
