Proudly holding the motorcycle A2 driving licence, seeing the dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor - this machine HAS to be it! A small catch: the series output for the stepped licence is too high. Is the dream over? On the contrary, because with alpha Technik power, performances reductions, the motorcycle dream immediately becomes reality!

With restrictor kits from alpha Technik, motorcycles of all power, performances classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performances weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the output power of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.

A lot of know-how goes into the development of the power, performances reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account: on one side are the legal regulations, such as exhaust, noise, and power, performances measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other side, the greatest possible unaltered preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performances development.
When all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, there is a high development and measurement effort, which is not immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous throttle plates and throttle stops.

25 kW restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation, which came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to manage with 25 kW for 2 years. alpha Technik offers due to its extensive range also today numerous 25 kW restrictor kits, which can consequently be used by A2 driving licence holders. All 25 kW restrictors function mechanically; no intervention in the electronics is necessary. The power, performances reduction occurs through the installation of specially developed throttle plates in the intake tract, or with throttle stops.
