Proudly holding your A2 motorcyclelicence, you've spotted your dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor - this machine MUST be yours! Small catch: the standard power output for the progressive licence is too high. Is the dream over? On the contrary, with alpha Technik power, performancesreductions, your motorcycledream immediately becomes reality!

With restrictor kits from alpha Technik, motorcycles of all power, performances classes become more interesting for the motorcyclerider, as almost any desired model can be brought down to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 motorcycle licence class. The power, performances weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output of the standard vehicle must not be exceeded.

A lot of know-how goes into the development of power, performancesreduction. Essential factors must be considered: on the one hand, there are legal requirements such as exhaust, noise, and power, performances measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the aim is to maintain optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performances development as unchanged as possible.
Once all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it's a high development and measurement effort, which is not immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous restrictor plates and throttle stops.

25 kW restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation, which came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to make do with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its extensive product range, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restrictor kits today, which can therefore be used by A2 licence holders. All 25 kW restrictors operate mechanically; no intervention in the electronics is necessary. The power, performancesreduction is achieved by installing specially designed restrictor plates in the intake manifold, or with throttle stops.
